The stunning Supermarine S.6B captured as it gets airborne. Developed to race at the Schneider Trophy, it won in 1931 achieving 340.08 mph (547.19 km/h).  It's design greatly contributed to the development of the iconic Spitfire, Britain's most successful plane of World War II.
